(Anonymous Feedback From Fellow Students of Michael Neill’s Supercoach Academy 2014)
Well I woke this morning to a quite wonderful email! An email that I feel ‘compelled’ to share here. An email that contains feedback from my peers at Michael Neill’s 9-month Supercoach Academy 2014 coach training.
And I thought I might share that email here, at the very least as an example of how I do things (how I ‘be myself’)…
- Now you could call my sharing a “vanity”.
- Or you could call my sharing a “me letting my light come out from that pesky, somewhat hogging ‘bushel'”
- Or you could simply call my sharing a “sharing”
…I’ll let you choose the meaning that feels best for you.
So I share my Supercoach Academy (SCA) peer feedback completely unedited (including the order of the feedback, and the email from Terri that accompanied it) other than I have emboldened some words [Actually, I added some explanatory words in square brackets.]
Supercoach Academy Peer Review Feedback
Hey, Steve-
Here are your unedited feedback comments from the peer review forms. We have removed any ‘No comment” or “Don’t really know them” statements from the collection. These are shared in the spirit of “here’s what some people who spent time with you in SCA had to say about the time that they spent”. You may use them to boost yourself up, drag yourself down, or (ideally) as insight catalysts for your own self-reflection!
Happy exploring,
love
Terri

Old Soul that has so much wisdom
I wish I would have gotten the chance to chat with Steve… Maybe in Santa Monica.
You are a spiritual guide – you just need to go out there.
fresh and loving
Seeing a deep spiritual awareness and compassion. I enjoy talking to you.
Steve is authentic and you feel the depth of his grounding
Steve’s outlook on life was a very positive experence for me to behold.
I have not been coached by Steve but through our conversations I have experienced what it must be like. Gentle, open, curious and compassionate.

We have spent a lot of time together. Steve is very honest, fun and unique – we have shared, very honestly, our humaness seen through the principles.
Steve sees something important that he think others don’t see. Thinking this might get in his way of serving other people. Though I haven’t had the pleasure of working with him I am most sure that he will be of service in the most amazing way.
Steve’s insights are beautiful. It’s a joy to be in his presence. He has a special combination of intellect woven with wisdom. Love him always.
Steve embodies the word Love.
We have not coach together, but you are hard not to notice 🙂 thanks for sharing in the group.
Have worked with Steve on a one to one basis outside of the classroom over Skype, and in my honest opinion he is a magnificent human being. He lights up the room with his smile and his wisdom is very insightful. I also love to read what he writes as it opens my eyes in so many different ways. He may not see himself as a Coach yet I see him as someone others would love to have a deep conversation with.
Pleasant. Enjoyed his input to the year group.
What can I say, Steve, except, “Further!” [Shh, but I wrote this, to myself! 😉 ]
Steve and I have spent a lot of one on one time together. I have loved watching him transform and grow. His blogs show how wise and insightful he is. He is one friend I will continue to know long after the Academy is over. I love all of him!
Helpful and supportive. I learned a great deal from his contributions
I liked Steve, his quiet way and his willingness to be open
Love Steve’s willingness to be open and honest, while at the same time holding a presence of deep acceptance and love. A beautiful combination of qualities in a coach.
Very perceptive and insightful
he was very friendly and a good listener.
Great conversation and coaching exploration with Steve. He is very present, and I believe he has the potential to be an amazing coach. I wish I had got the opportunity to share more conversation with him. I look forward to more in the future.
His curiosity and depth make of him a very valuable human being!
deep and thoughtful coaching
Steve has a terrific presence and a rare ability to accept whatever is showing up without a need to interfere. He listens. He waits. He allows. And that is a wonderful way to be in this conversation.
Steve’s questioning along the way in our Blue Pod added a tremendous amount to our journey through SCA

Thank you for reading my supercoach academy peer review feedback.
It certainly made for interesting reading today, at least for me.
It was quite humbling to read what others saw in me. And it was also interesting for me to note the importance I gave to the one less than positive (in my mind) feedback I got too. (Yes, isn’t it fascinating what our minds will focus on, if we let it.) But, over all – and let me address these words to my peers on Michael Neill’s Supercoach Academy 2014 – I think I can sum up my response to my feedback with these two words
Thank you! 🙂
